What’s likely to get a response from me:

Reader mail — thoughts on the book, how a chapter hit you, where you traveled after reading it. This is genuinely my favorite kind of email.
Media and press inquiries — interviews, profiles, features, and requests for quotes for articles.
Podcast or YouTube interview invitations from hosts whose audience overlaps with queer travel, identity, or storytelling.
PR pitches relevant to my work — travel, LGBTQ+ spaces, books, and adjacent topics. If you’re not sure if it fits, it probably doesn’t, but you’re welcome to try.
Event or panel invitations — speaking, readings, book clubs, etc. I can’t say yes to everything, but I appreciate you reaching out.

What’s not a fit for me:

Guest post requests of any kind. These go straight to spam. I do, however, accept guests posts on my queer travel blog, and you can find guest post guidelines there.
Requests for free consulting or personal advice, or unpaid labor. I offer a ton of free advice in newsletters, blog posts, and other resources, including paid consultations where you can pick my brain.
Off-topic PR pitches — if it has nothing to do with travel, books, queer life, or storytelling, please don’t send it.
